About the Class
Kriya Yoga is a systematic approach designed by Mahavatar Kriya Babaji to transform oneself to merge in universal bliss. Kriya Yoga was divided into four stages by Lahiri Mahashaya.
- First Stage - This stage involves exercises for each part of the body; by regularly practicing these exercises one can achieve good health and disease less body. These exercises are not only for the physical body; but they directly affect astral body; hence one may get some spiritual experiences just by practicing these exercises.
- Second Stage - This stage involves special breathing techniques using Haung-sa.
- Third Stage - This stage involves Aum meditation.
- Fourth Stage - In this stage student learns the actual Kriya Pranayama as described in 26th chapter of the book "Autobiography of a Yogi" by Paramahansa Yogananda. Kriya Pranayama accelerates evolution of human brain or the consciousness.
