Nearly every college in America accepts the SAT or Subject Tests as a part of its admissions process. That''s why more than two million students take the SAT every year. However, this means that there is a lot of competition for good scores. Getting started the right way with SAT preparation is half the battle won. In this session, experienced SAT test prep expert, Kareem, guides you on how to get started with your SAT preparation. He would cover the following points:

  • Take a diagnostic Test - but just ANY test is not good enough!
  • Know your level, goal, and time frame.
  • Know who is qualified to prepare you for the SAT.
  • Know the most important skills to learn to ace the SAT.
  • Adjust your time and Reassessment.

Profile Summary

Kareem Gouda is currently leading AmericEd, a company with a deep philosophy and goal of putting better teachers in our children's classrooms. Mr. Gouda has been teaching for eight years and has helped hundreds of students around the world ace their tests. As a college admission counselor, Kareem has helped many students enter the best colleges; he is a member of the New Jersey Association for College Admission Counseling. Kareem is a member of the United Nations UNA-USA, the Sloan Consortium for Quality Online Education, and the Collegeboard Education Policy & Advocacy Program.

Kareem was born in the USA and has traveled all over the world. Kareem has always had a passion for teaching. This is why he decided to pursue a career in teaching right after his graduation as an electronics engineer. He taught at many international schools, and delivered many SAT prep courses to schools in the USA and abroad. Kareem has continued his graduate studies as an educator and teacher educator.

Kareem currently lives in New Jersey with his wife and two daughters where he prepares students in the USA and worldwide for their SAT exams. He also travels around the world conducting teacher training workshops for AmericEd.

Kareem is a member of the Association of American Educators and is a certified teacher by The American Board for Certification of Teacher Excellence (ABCTE). He has authored three SAT prep books and two Bergen Academies Test prep books. He considers himself exceptionally lucky to have had the opportunity of teaching brilliant students of different cultures and origins, most of whom have scored well in the 90s percentile after attending his classes.
