About the Class
This is a series of basic phonic tutorials for the beginning English student. It was designed for young ESL students who were learning to read in English. But I believe it is appropriate for any beginning English student. This lesson is about the ‘aw, au’ sound. We will learn new sight words, review the sight words from the former lessons, read rhyming words that have the ‘aw, au’ sound, and read sentences using only these words. At the completion of this 17-lesson phonics course, the student will know all the 44 sounds associated with the 26 letter English alphabet. Students will learn over 200 sight words and be able to read sentences using the sight words and the words they have learned to blend. This is a sequential course which builds on the previous lessons. Of course, it will be helpful to sign up for a private class so I can help you with pronunciation, reading, speaking, listening, and writing.
