Profile Summary
Andy Barbiero is a University of Cambridge CELTA qualified English teacher and graduate of the Trinity College London Certificate in International Business English Training (certIBET) presented by Mark Powell.
After graduating from University in Canada with a BA in General Arts majoring in English Literature, Andy became a student of life traveling and working. After many adventures with various jobs, he starting down the path that would lead him to where he is today when he started teaching English to students in a private language school in South Korea. Since then, he has been involved in several projects that include teaching English as a second language in many private language schools, elementary schools, high schools, and multi-national companies in Italy, South Korea and Japan.
Andy enjoys mountain-biking through the trails in Brianza, and participating in his local Toastmasters public speaking club in Milan.
English is the world’s problem-solving language and has become the “Lingua Franca” in Global communication. Andy is the Pearson-Longman Educational Consultant for the Milan-Turin area (Italy)sharing innovative and effective ways to teach English as a second language to teachers through the extensive Pearson-Longman library and exciting teaching programs.
