About the Class

The first of several lessons as we start exploring all four sections of the IELTS exam: Reading, Writing, Listening and Speaking.
In this session, Andy will concentrate on the reading section of the IELTS exam, both academic and general. Andy will give a detailed look at the paper with links to related resources as well as going through each task type such as multiple choice, identifying information, matching information etc. with examples of what you will find on the test. All this along with tips and advice on how to get the best mark possible based on over five years experience preparing students to take this test AND the opportunity to ask Andy questions and get an immediate response in a live session.

Thank you Andy for such an informative and interactive class. Keep going. I wish you stopped and clarified some of the phrasal verbs that you used like diving in , walk through even though the class was about reading. Thank you again for this so impressive lesson. Your intonation was exccellent.

After graduating from University in Canada with a BA in General Arts majoring in English Literature, Andy became a student of life traveling and working. After many adventures with various jobs, he starting down the path that would lead him to where he is today when he started teaching English to students in a private language school in South Korea. Andy enjoys mountain-biking through the trails in Brianza, and participating in his local Toastmasters public speaking club in Milan.
