About the Class

The purpose of this class is to introduce you to new vocabulary related to talking about your likes and dislikes. The IELTS speaking test usually includes questions related to your opinion about something in which case it is important to use academic vocabulary to talk about the topic.

After you complete this class, you can expect to be able to:

1) know all the vocabulary from the lesson,
2) use the vocabulary in speaking about your likes and dislikes.

Depending on the number of students in the class, you will have an opportunity to express your opinions about something you like and/or dislike, just as you might do in an actual IELTS speaking exam.

Before joining the class, it is a good idea to complete the vocabulary test that I have posted which is related to this topic. It will prepare you for the class.

I am a NATIVE ENGLISH SPEAKER with a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Teaching English as a Foreign Language, a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Marketing, and a Bachelor of Arts in German. I have more than 17 years' teaching experience. I have taught English for Academics at the university and college levels, Business English, and Aviation English at Etihad Airways, Emirates Airline, and Pan Am International Flight Academy.
