We will discuss the concept of Identity in Post colonial studies. We will appeal to methods and strategies of the colonizers on the colonised countries. We will share ideas, come up with concret examples to see how the identity of a colonised community is affected by the identity of its colonizer.
WORLD LITTERATURE IS A GREAT SOURCE OF EXAMPLES TO PORTRAY IDENTITY CHANGES IN POSTCOLONIAL COUNTRIES.
A Passage To India by The English Writer E.M.Forster Alludes both Identities of English and Indians in the colonised India.
Things Fall Apart By The Nigerian writer Chenua Achebe who portrays the Identity of Nigeria before and after colonisation.
