About the Class: |
This session would discuss the following topics under Plant Kingdom:- Plant hormones and growth regulation;
- Action of plant hormones in relation to seed dormancy and germination, apical dominance, senescence and abscission.
There would also be a discussion on Applications of synthetic growth regulators. Finally, a brief account of growth and movement in plants, would be discussed.

About the presenter:
Dr. Aman Biswas

Aman finished her Masters in Philosophy after graduating and post-graduating in Honours School from Panjab University, Chandigarh. In 1987, she joined MLSM college, Sundernager (HP) as a lecturer and was subsequently awarded Ph. D in the year 1990. Presently she is busy in teaching and writing. She is as well credited with several research articles and papers, apart from writing books on biological sciences like her companion.
