About the Class

The trigonometry of the unit circle is a method of associating real numbers (radian measure), to trigonometric functions. This viewpoint is most useful in the study of calculus and the concept of functions. This method of viewing trigonometric functions allows the student to readily visualize concepts such as frequency, periodicity and fundamental identities; whose proofs maybe difficult to grasp by other means.
