Karaoke ESL
part 1

Every Tuesday Thursday and Saturday there will be two classes for students pursuing Spoken English with Karaoke ESL.  The 6:30 class will be dedicated to those who have chosen a song to work on at the main blog http://www.myeslfriends.com/  (choose the Karaoke Tab along the top for available songs) 
Prior to class you must download the worksheet and MP3. 
If you do not find a worksheet translated into your native language, please contact George at www.wiziq.com/George  or skype me at GMACHLAN (skype name)
You should also  listen only (don't sing or speak it yet) a couple of times before the class.
Be sure you have a printed (paper) copy for class.

You will also be expected to have a headset for these classes. You are expected to speak in this class.  No singing during class will be needed.  The purpose of this class is to identify the problem sounds which you should be careful of during your practice with the song.  You will be singing it many times to memorize the words and mimic the accent.  If you practice without care and direction (of problem sounds) this method will do more harm than good.

With KESL, George allows us to practice our English in a controlled way, which is a very useful and frequently applied technique in language classes. Using songs give learners a safe medium for safe conversation and a reason to talk with a person you dont know. This is a great chance for English learners if we do our part that fall on us, and come prepared to the classes.
