About the Class

3-tier architecture is the most commonly used architecture framework for .net applications. In this session, Biswadip Goswami, a renowned and experienced teacher in Computer Science and Mathematics, provides a brief introduction to the 3-tier architecture using .net 2.0 framework. He would be discussing about the various layers/ tiers as follows:

  • Data access layer
  • Business Logic layer
Biswadip would also take the audience through some screenshots and code samples about how to configure the databases and how to write functions to do quick data access. The session would also focus on the data flow in the architecture. After the introduction, some advanced level concepts like designing a distributed application and the need to decide how to access and represent the business data associated with the application would be discussed.
