About the Class

This Saturday we will have a mini conference for WiZiQ Math teachers. In my research on both WiZiQ multimedia class dynamics and Left Brain - Right Brain physiology in learning, I think there are some unique possibilities for enhancing mathematics teaching in our community. As the nuances I wish to share are primarily Right Brain intuitive, this forum of written (Left Brain) class description could not do it justice.

Therefor, if it requires other modes of sharing.... we have the perfect solution. Yes, the WiZiQ VC (virtual classroom) is preeminently suited for whole brain sharing of information. I dare you to show up for this class/discussion. I doubt that I have made a discovery but, based on my observations of math classes at WiZiQ, all of us need to talk about whole brain learning possibilities at WiZiQ. We as teachers are special at WiZiQ and the WiZiQ VC is special beyond even their ideas. It takes both of us to say the big question...

Profile Summary

We do not need "them", we only need each other.

This group of pilgrims called "The Edupunk" are seeking a new paradigm for online learning. We hold to several core principals:
1. All can teach, all should teach
2. Mistakes and willing to risk mistakes are much prefered over the false goal of perfection.
3. Fun activities and gaming are not only more engaging, they are the key to a sustainable model for learning... anything.
4. Live interaction and group activities create the basis for deep and experiential learning.
5. Accountability and competition is the basis of our community. We build and only associate with leaders who can recognize that they and every member have knowledge to share.
