About the Class

Spanish is the third most spoken language in the world after Mandarin and English, with 500 million Hispanic speakers. It is spoken in 135 countries, with it being one of the main languages in 55 of them and the official in 27. Hence, for a foreign language, it makes sense to learn Spanish.

In this session, Rafael will teach the Spanish you would need to use when traveling to any of the Hispanic countries. The situations and vocabulary will take place in the scenario of the third most populated country in Latin America: Colombia.

Why Colombia?

  • Colombia has the fame to be the country where Spanish is best spoken, which means that is closer to a dictionary Spanish.
  • It is a beautiful touristic place, full of contrasts and diversity: from exotic beaches, through mountain chains and modern cities, to deserts and the Amazon jungle.
  • The teacher [Rafael] was born there and is a perfect ambassador of his country.
To summarize, you will learn Spanish at the time that you get to know Colombia, The famous Colombian personalities around the world, the food, interesting places to visit, plus some relevant historical, economical, social, political and cultural facts.
