About the Class: |
It is often necessary to rewrite expressions involving sines, cosines and tangents in alternative forms. To do this we use formulas known as trigonometric identities. A number of commonly used identities are reciprocal identities, Pythagorean identities, quotient identities, cofunction identities and even odd identities, sum difference formulas, product to sum formulas and double angle formulas to name a few. This session would also spotlight the use of trigonometric identities, compound angles and multiple and sub multiple angles and their derivations.
