About the Class: |
In continuation with two popular sessions : Introduction to Chinese Language and Asking for Directions in China, Stanley brings you yet another must attend session for all those looking to travel to China or looking to go to an authentic Chinese Restaurant. Yes, this session would be about Chinese Food and Cuisine. With a culture that dates back more than 3000 years, China has a great range of food and cuisines. Most of the Chinese food is not what you typically see in restaurants around the world and the profound history around Chinese food has not been fully recognized. However, this session is not going to go too deep in the history. Instead, it would focus on providing a brief introduction of different cuisines and eating habits in China. Also, Stanley will share with you some useful tips while "Ordering food in a restaurant". All these will surely give you a more pleasant experience next time you travel in China. After this session, you will:- Be able to tell the difference between various Chinese cuisines
- Have more confidence ordering your own food in Chinese instead of pointing at the pictures
- Have the desire to try some real Chinese food :-)
