Welcome to CO10 the annual live online conference. The conference will be of interest to educators, administrators, students, and community members who value the importance of integrating technology into the curriculum to improve instruction and learning. Online learning involves various skills on the part of the instructor and learner. These include social and communication skills, social networking, independent learning strategies, critical and higher order thinking skills, creativity, and effective online and face-to-face facilitation.

Bjoern Lasse HerrmannI started to engage myself proactively in Education about 3 1/2 years ago with various initiatives such as Education for the Future & Transparency for Development with peace prize laureate Bibi Russell, with a startup called the Performance Network - an new administration tool for universities & companies, as a member of the ZEIT expert council for education and most recently with Supercool School. Supercool School is all about building a new global infrastructure by doing for education what blogging has done for publishing.

I have been teaching business related classes in different environments offline and online for about 3 years.

The leading team at IT4ALL are: Dr. Ludmila Smirnova (professor at St. Mary's College in New York State, writer, experienced presenter and online facilitator), Dr. Nellie Deutsch (a Canadian instructional designer and curriculum development leader, who has been teaching English and integrating technology into her classes, and presenting, researching, writing, and providing consultation on Moodle for teachers. WebQuests, blended learning, and e-portfolios), Dariem Garcés (Moodle Developer, creator of the WebQuest pluggin for Moodle, and expert in installing virtual learning environments), and other educators & technology experts volunteer their time and make up Integrating Technology for Active Lifelong Learning (IT4ALL).

IT4ALL is a non-profit organization that provides free professional development courses on how to integrate e-learning technology into full and blended online learning (BOL) courses and workshops. Workshops on Moodle for Teachers, WebQuests, TESOL, ESOL, Integrating Technology, Web 2.0 tools, Math, English, Spanish and other subjects. The staff at IT4ALL are all volunteers who are passionate about instruction and learning and making a difference in the world of online education.
