This is the first of two free introductory classes in a series of 26 lectures on the philosophy of German Idealism. This first lecture will deal with the general outline of Kantianism as the culmination of Enlightenment philosophy. Every monday there will be a general introduction, and every Friday there will be a special class, discussing basic texts. The program for the entire series will be uploaded shortly.
