About the Class

This lecture presents the benefits of regular exercise for all aspects and ages of your life. This session reviews American College of Sports Medicine’s exercise guidelines, exercise prescription development, and a time management exercise plan. This lecture provides essential information empowering you to develop an exercise program focusing on these three components: strength, cardiovascular, and flexibility training. The lecture ends as an open forum to discuss the group’s exercise questions.

Attendees will be educated in the following:

  • Participants will become familiar with the fine art and perfection of exercise program design and implementation
  • Learn to design your exercise program with safety and confidence
  • Learn to successfully replicate, memorize and perfect the mechanics and recommended/expected range of motions for a specific exercise movement
