About the Class

I have received many queries of late regarding the compatibility of one's aptitude and relevance of subject combination taken at the O levels with regards to the consideration of attempting H2 maths in junior college.
In light of this, I would be conducting an informal online class that provides a preview of what to expect for H2 maths in terms of the core syllabus, required skill sets and at the same time address any concerns or questions students might have.
Note that this is not an official lesson, but rather more of a discussion/information session as I will share with you my experiences as a JC maths tutor and the issues/challenges my current/ex students faced when tackling this subject.
PS: It is free, and there are no hidden costs/charges/agendas. So just sit back and enjoy the session.

Language of instruction: English

Keywords: mathematics, o level grads, h2 maths

Profile Summary

Stumped by your JC H2 mathematics lessons till today and at a complete loss as to how to tackle your upcoming examinations or block test?

Fret not. If you are reading this, some part of you still desires salvation . Having been a tutor for 11 years and counting, I have accumulated extensive experience and know-how when it comes to training students to handle H2 maths competently; majority of them have gone on to score distinctions for the subject in the A level examinations. I was previously from Hwa Chong JC (AKA HCI), a straight As student myself, an electrical engineering graduate from NUS and a former banking scholar. I like to offer help, especially to those who need it badly but are terribly conflicted with regards as to who exactly is the real deal (no thanks to too many gimmicks/claims by ''guru'' teachers).

As a favour to yourself, shed that apprehensive state of mind. Take the initiative to make the first move. Come foward and share with me your learning difficulties. If you demonstrate sincerity in truly wanting to turn things around, you can be assured from this point onwards, I would be most willing to take care of everything else. Peace.
