Moodle for Teachers

January 4 - 31, 2010

M4T workshop is intended to provide teachers with the necessary
knowledge and tools to effectively run a course using Moodle.

Moodle for Teachers 3 (M4T-3)

Moodle for Teachers (M4T) is a 4 week workshop that provides theoretical and practical hands-on experience in creating and managing Moodle courses. M4T will cover the following topics:
  • Week 1: Teaching and Learning Online: Why Moodle?
  • Week 2: Teaching with Moodle: Who Am I as an Educator? Practice in creating Moodle courses for 3 weeks in the team sandboxes
  • Week 3: Teaching with Moodle: Supporting Collaboration and Interaction.
  • Week 4: Teaching with MOODLE: Assessment for Learning.
The aim of M4T is to help participants learn how to create and manage Moodle courses. The workshop will take place on the IT4ALL Moodle so there will be no need to move to other learning environments. M4T include asynchronous (via the Moodle) (via WiZiQ) components and provide participants with theoretical and practical skills. The workshop demands at least 2 hours of course work a week.
