This session will introduce the free and one of the most popular software operating systems, GNU/Linux. In this session, the presenter will provide practical examples on how to use Linux. The presentation will start with a tour on how to use the operating system for common tasks and will cover productivity in Linux and how to get things done. Finally, the participants will learn about the different media available to acquire Linux.

Alexandro Colorado has been the co-Lead of the OpenOffice.org project for Spanish for 05 years. He has 08 years experience working with Linux and has trained and assisted companies into deploying their open source strategy. He is currently the co-founder of CLIC a Web 2.0 and new media company to assist small businesses to get exposure on the Web through the use of social networking.
Who Should Attend: This session is informative for all computer users. Anyone who has used a computer can learn Linux very easily.
This session will be moderated by Nellie Deutsch. Nellie is a Canadian high school English teacher (EFL/ESL) and a doctoral student of educational leadership specializing in curriculum and instruction at the University of Phoenix online.
