Gimp: How to improve brightness and contrast in your photos using Gimp

This workshop shows some easy techniques to improve contrast and brightness to show more details in your picture using the free and open source software Gimp.

You will learn how to
- fit an image into a window
- adjusting color levels
- adjusting color curves

Prerequisites:

We will use the software Gimp, please make sure you have it installed and running on your computer before you enter the workshop.

the software is available for Windows, Macintosh and Linux. Macintosh users must install the X11 environment. It is included on the "Optional Installs" package on the OS X install disk.
