Who would not like to have cool sound effects for their own video production, podcast or radio play?

Creating special effects is not too difficult. You can use the free software audacity.

This class will show you how to create your first cool sound effects using audacity.

Prerequisites:

You should have installed audacity version 1.3 (it says beta on the website but please use this version anyway).

We will learn:

1. how effect filters work
2. creating effects from sounds in your household
3. creating effects from a sine tone
4. creating effects from noise
