In this class, we will be discussing why from farming villages arose cities, and with them, the first civilizations, marking the beginnings of recorded history.

I will be answering any questions that you may have and here are a few that have come up in previous classes that we will be hitting hard on:

  • 1. Why did some early villages develop into cities?
  • 2. What characterized the world’s first civilizations, and where did they develop?
  • 3. What factors cause civilizations to change over time?
