About the Class

Developing Web sites or applications for the web is necessary if you want to offer your own Web 2.0 solution. This class is the first in a series of classes about web development. In this class we will discuss:

  • 1. How to start with web development
  • 2. How to get free web web hosting in order to publish and test your site
  • 3. What tools do you need to build your first HTML page
The first part of this class is a lecture to tell you how to start and how to plan towards your own web site (about 30 minutes).
The second part of the class is a workshop where I will help you to sign up for a free web hosting that you can use in the following classes to test your web pages (about 30 minutes). We will continue this class series by building simple HTML pages that you can publish on any free hosting service of your choice. Please come in time to be able to join in the workshop so that you can follow the sign up process for your free web hosting.

Thank You for interesting session. Altho I am on elementary stage of my English knowledge I underestood You. I am only simple user of PC but I am interesting for WEB site developing. I am GP and I haven´t any WEB side. Maybe once... I am looking for Your next session !
