MY OUTLOOK TOWARDS TRAINING:

Learning is a never ending process. Our Experiences, Friends, Internet, Seminars, Books, Media and many other sources bring new information and opportunities for learning. The question is: how much of this information really gets converted to learning, and how much of that learning is put into actual practice. Organizations that spend money on training should be investing in the learning that needs to result from such spending. What happens in reality is not real investment, but mere spending of precious revenue.

There are various reasons for this. Most of the time, the training methodology is in question, besides the fact that many of the trainees are either preoccupied with work or their attention is diverted with personal issues. Another important fact is that the human mind forgets what is learnt in just 2-3 days’ time. Hence, even when individuals actually want to implement the learning they are unable to do so as the learning is already lost in a short time span.

The fact is, investment cannot be compromised: it has to be ensured that training converts to learning, and learning put to practice for the efficiency of the organization and the individual. Value for the TIME & MONEY spent on learning has to be created.

Consider the statement:

TIME & MONEY are PRECIOUS, so also LEARNING.

To overcome this noticed drawback, I have given a new-look to the training process. My training programs are planned giving importance to the above PRECIOUS ORGANIZATIONAL COMMODITIES, and also to INDIVIDUALS’ WORK & PERSONAL LIFE. All the training programs I conduct are designed with Interesting Facts, Fun and Relevance to Work & Life. This way, learning the contents of my training and its retention are ensured.
