About the Class: |
This class is the one in a programme of classes to provide students with learning skills to assist them taking tertiary education programmes, training for professional roles or continuing professional development.
The programme is divided into 4 skill areas:
- Learning management skills
- Learning outcomes
- Learning process skills
- Learning presentation skills
This class provides tuition on how to understand and make use of a range of learning styles to improve learning management skills.
The presentation uses a show and practice approach, where the student will be encouraged to practice the methods outlined.
At the same time, the teacher, James Harrison, encourages a participative approach to the lesson inviting questions, comments and ideas from every student, so they can gain the maximum amount of learning from this new learning channel.
