About the Class

This class is the first in a programme of classes to provide students with learning skills to assist them taking tertiary education programmes, training for professional roles or continuing professional development.
The programme is divided into 4 skill areas:

  • Learning management skills
  • Learning outcomes
  • Learning process skills
  • Learning presentation skills
This class outlines the programme and provides tuition on how to develop time management skills. The presentation uses a show and practice approach, where the student will be encouraged to practice the methods outlined.
At the same time, the teacher, James Harrison, encourages a participative approach to the lesson inviting questions, comments and ideas from every student, so they can gain the maximum amount of learning from this new learning channel.
