This session will introduce participants to Second Life. He will discuss his experiences with Second Life, the first 3D Social Network. This would be a fun and exciting introduction on how to use Second Life for Learning and Training and is targeted at teachers who want to use advanced technology in their instruction.

Minhaaj Rehman has an MBA in human resource management and bachelors in English literature. Minhaaj is an educational consultant and corporate trainer interested in e-learning and web 2.0 and OER/FOSS/ FLOSS. He has been teaching American accent, Change management and Human resources.
This session will be moderated by Nellie Deutsch. Nellie is a Canadian high school English teacher (EFL/ESL) and a doctoral student of educational leadership specializing in curriculum and instruction at the University of Phoenix online.
