About the Class: |
You may be knowing that a singular subject takes a singular verb and a plural subject, plural verb. For example, we say, They go to market; but she goes to market. It is important that we have to agree the verb with its subject in number whether it is spoken or written. Now in the sentence 'Abdul as well as his brothers go/goes to school, which verb is correct? Again, in 'The President as well as the members has/have resigned', do you have to use singular or plural verb? There are many sentence structures in English which confuse you as to which verb in its number has to be used. This class will be very useful for those who plan to take GMAT, CAT, TOEFL or any exam where the knowledge of English is tested. Want to get a clear idea about the usages and get cleared once for all? Join this class in advance by paying a very nominal fee of $5. Any teaching is incomplete without testing. So, how far you have grasped and understood ,can be tested after the class.
You will get a worksheet at the end of the class to be worked upon at your leisure and send to me for correction and suggestion. It will be returned to your e-mail in 3 days.
