About the Class: |
If you want to practice your speaking skills in English, then this is the class for you! Small class sizes ensure that you will have plenty of speaking time, and a nonjudgmental environment ensures that you will feel comfortable and welcome to contribute your thoughts and ideas.
In each class, you will be provided with an article to read before the lesson. The articles will be about an array of different topics including current events, life topics, and others. You will be asked to read the article and think of a few questions or points to discuss during the lesson with the other students and the teacher.
The lesson will begin by going over any questions about the article, followed by a review of the key vocabulary. After this, the class will consist of an open discussion about the topic(s) in or related to the article. Once you sign up for the class, I will send you the article to prepare for the lesson via a message on WiZiQ.
This class is best suited for intermediate - level and above students.

About the presenter:
Liz
|
Liz has had experience sharing her language her whole life. She has hosted exchange students from all over the world since the age of 3. This has provided her with the experience of helping those students adjust to life in a foreign country, helping them with language issues, and getting to know their cultures as well. Liz has herself learned many languages and recognizes the frustrations and difficulties being a student and is able to empathize with her students.
In 2008, Liz received her Master's degree in TESOL. She is well trained in teaching English and has had experience teaching in a traditional classroom, over the phone, and on the Internet.
