About the Class: |
I am an organic chemistry professor in the U.S., and have helped hundreds of students master organic chemistry for years. I have a proven and time-tested approach which I would like to offer to a wider audience. My approach is conceptual, relying very little on memorization. My organic students have consistently achieved the highest scores on the U.S. MCAT admissions exams, or have gone on to prestigious graduate research programs.
In this class, I will present distinct methods designed for maximum effectiveness, specifically for organic chemistry. We will emphasize these study methods and approaches utilizing common, readily understandable examples.
If you need to learn organic chemistry....a wonderful subject when properly approached....and you've been worried and frustrated...this is the class for you.

About the presenter:
David Jeffrey

Dr David Jeffrey holds a Ph.D. in organic chemistry from UC Berkeley, as well as post-graduate studies at Harvard, Stanford, and UCSF Medical Center. He is the author of articles in peer-reviewed journals, book chapters, as well as having presented dozens of papers at various chemistry and environmental science conferences. A former Gordon Research Conference invitee, Phi Beta Kappa/Merck Awardee, and lead environmental scientist for major national engineering and consulting firms, Dr. Jeffrey brings a wealth of both practical private sector and theoretical academic experience to his teaching methods.
