About the Class

Teachers are now moving beyond the use case of recording lectures and then sending URL of these recorded video lectures to the learners to view who after viewing send feedback to the teacher and the teacher then reads the feedback and answers students queries. Not only is this method inefficient as it seeks to replace a real time conversation with delayed one, but also not fast enough. Multiple factors are aiding the growth of online education. Virtual classrooms the world over are helping teachers adopt more real time teaching - helping their students learn no matter where they are. These classes generally include both audio and video components as well as text chat and whiteboards/ content sharing too. Further, you can also stream videos and hear your students too. You can teach anyone - anywhere in the world, and your students now do not need to miss the class because they had a flu or because they could not travel 2 hours to attend your class. Live video and audio learning is the future of education - experience the leading Virtual Classroom solution in this online demonstration.

I disagree. I think it is a very efficient use of time. The student can watch and repeat the online class, and then use the ''virtual classroom'' to practise what they have learnt online. It''s cheaper, more convenient, and if the online class is dynamic, and interactive .... it can be just as engaging. Blended learning seeks to enhance real time conversation, whilst delivering information via various platforms which are convenient to the student, such as podcasts, sms, facebook, twitter....if teachers/schools aren''t using these platforms to connect with students, then a competitor will happily fill the void.
