The aim of this session is to distinguish between Strategic Thinking, Strategic Decision Making and Strategic Planning, and then to proceed with a short discussion about each of them. This session will provide you with a conceptual overview of these aspects of Strategic Management rather than to provide practical guidelines on how to go about each of these. It will discuss these from the background of having given an overview of the unique nature of the strategic environment. The focus is on the knowledge economy.
