About the Class
In the foreign language classroom, one of the goals is to improvestudent speaking ability and give them opportunities to communicate in the target language. In this presentation activities to promoteinter-student communication, using the PoodLL set of add-ons forMoodle, will be introduced. The presenter teaches English conversation to high school students in Japan, and is the developer of the PoodLLadd ons. He believes good teachers should get out of the way, but have to create a framework in which that can work. He will spend a little time introducing PoodLL at the beginning of the presentation.

This session was a really great experience. Got a lot of inspirations.I wonder how to set up and administer the wonderful pairwork widget we've been using. I could not find any information on the PoodLL website...

I have some information buried in screencasts, but that is not so useful is it? I will write up a doc on Poodll.com and then post back here when it is done.

Dear Justin, thank you for the immediate response. The screencast was very helpful and gave a lot of insights. However, I don't exactly understand how to implement that feature as a widget (type=???) and how to access the admin center. most of the widgets are documented very well, however I cannot find any information about this awsome featur… See moree.
