About the Class

In the modern workplace, discussion about teamwork and team building has become a common. In most organizations, people work in groups. However, many people don’t have a solid understanding of what real teamwork is or how to build a team. This 30 minute overview course will help students understand the difference between group work and team work, the skills needed for successful team building. Topics covered in this session will include: • Defining team and group work • Common challenges of working in teams This class is ideal for people who would like to gain a greater understanding of the basic elements of teams and how the differences and similarities between teams and groups.
