We educate students with one main objective in mind: their success. What is the measure of success? Is it only a strong scientific mind? No! It was, IQ alone is no more the measure for success; emotional intelligence, also play a big role in a person''s success (Goleman, 1995).

The purpose of this study is to see whether there is a relationship between emotional intelligence and success. Do the high achievers have a high emotional intelligence level or isn’t there any relationship between their achievement and their emotional intelligence? Do the low achievers have a low emotional intelligence level or isn’t there any relationship between their achievement and their emotional intelligence either?

Building one''s Emotional Intelligence has a lifelong impact. And in corporations, the inclusion of Emotional Intelligence in training programs has helped employees cooperate better and motivate more, thereby increasing productivity and profits.
