About the Class: |
Twitter is the hottest growing social media Web 2.0 application currently. There are many experts, celebrities and thinkers have a wide set of followers, keeping a tab on every move they make. It is an instant, interesting, fun and convenient way to reach out to people interested in learning more about you. Twitter is now at a stage where Facebook was in 2006, MySpace in 2004, Google in 1999 and Hotmail in 1996 : growing exponentially. Members who will make investments, understand it and build their presence in this micro-blogging website, will reap rich harvest later. In this class, I will present a use case for teachers on how to use Twitter and then we will have an open house on how it could be useful for teachers. The agenda for this class is:- Introduction to Twitter
- What can you use Twitter for?
- How to get Followers?
- How to position yourself?
- Twitter for Teaching Community
If you plan to attend this class and network with other teachers, let us know your Twitter Account in comments section below. Other teachers could follow you and you could follow other teachers active too :)
