About the Class

In general, an Embedded System:

  • • Is a system built to perform its duty, completely or partially independent of human intervention.
  • • Is specially designed to perform a few tasks in the most efficient way.
  • • Interacts with physical elements in our environment, viz. controlling and driving a motor, sensing temperature, etc.
This class would focus on the following aspects:
  • Definition
  • Characteristics of embedded systems and why they are used
  • Peripheral used and Interface used
  • From implementation point of view the difference in computer and embedded systems which includes real real time and hard real time systems.
  • Example of Atmega 644 starting from base to its working
  • Software designing methods used for making embedded systems
  • 12C mode in embedded systems
