Vocabulary dealing with ''Confusing pair of words''
There are many words in English which sound alike, but spell differently and mean differently. Actually the spellings are so very close that you have to carefully notice to see the difference. A sample of these words, I have dealt with in one of my free public classes. I am sure at the end of this 1 hour session, you will learn a lot of such pairs of words. (A minimum of 25 pairs, that is 50 words with a little bit of difficulty level). Since these words are given in pairs, it is easier to remember them. My objectives in conducting this class:

• 1. To enable the participants to identify the similar sounding pairs of words
• 2. To enable them to differentiate the meanings of similar sounding or look- alike words.
• 3. To enable them to comprehend the sentences where these words are used.
• 4. To enable them to use these words in their own sentences in an appropriate context.
• 5. To enable them to make these words in their active vocabulary.
