Transcendental equations relate two or more different kinds of functions together.

one of the most common examples of such an equation is-



which certainly cannot be solved using any algebraic transformation. for such equations, we use the very basic mathematical tool called a graph.

so here we just plot the two graphs of the functions given on the left & the right hand side using the graphical transformation& find the possible values of x and if a solution to the equation is possible or not.

we also have to deal with the maximum & minimum values of the two curves to find solutions to the equations.
