About the Class:
While talking to people, we often realize the influence of regional languages as well as the culture on the speaker’s choice of words, pronunciation and intonation. Any attempt we make to correct these, especially to neutralize the accent, requires a change in the way the speaker considers the English Language. If English is considered as a foreign language, something alien, the speaker tends to get conscious of how and what he speaks, and these inhibitions are clearly visible to any listener. In fact, a slight tremble in the voice, a word or even an “a” or “s” left out, a frown on the face or the excessive movement of the hands, all exhibit the attitude of the speaker towards the language.

Here is a session on treating English as My Language where ways to express your thoughts fluently would be discussed in detail. Communicating fluently in English is an art and the person who masters this art, knows what he has gained.

The participants can expect a fair chance to read a few sentences fluently and get a feedback at the same time on their Confidence Level, the articulation, and their attitude towards what they speak. All are requested to bring their headphones and microphones for the class.
About the presenter: Namrata Arora Englishteacher
A keen and diligent learner, Namrata takes immense pleasure in imparting knowledge to her students. Nothing satisfies her more than helping the students bridge the gap between where the students are today and where they want to reach in their life. She feels that if she is able to mold the way the students approach their weaknesses and eradicate them, they will benefit immensely. Her teaching methodologies are innovative and simplified than those available in books. An MBA by qualification, and a Soft Skills trainer and Spoken English Instructor by profession, Namrata has taught innumerable students of all age groups. Besides that, she has been teaching IELTS and TOEFL iBT from where she realized the importance of providing directional guidance to students.
