Class Room Procedures
A typical lesson in S-O-S approach is completed in three phases:
  • Presentation: Introduction of new vocabulary/grammatical items in contexts.
  • Practice: Oral but controlled practice of the items.
  • Production: a free practice in the language items learnt in Phase (b).
Evaluation
  • It helps to develop a learner’s competence in the use of structures in the target language.
  • Its emphasis on the use of language in contexts and situations that are in immediate environment made it more viable.
  • Concrete linguistic items are taught through demonstration and abstract ideas through association.
  • Class room teaching and learning are made enjoyable.

She is also a member to deliver lectures in the Universities in Tamil Nadu for Correspondence courses (Distant Education) and also Regular Stream of Engineering professionals. Vijayalakshmi is a cheerful person with hearty love towards all the living beings in this universe. She is proud to be a woman holding distinct role as a deserving daughter, a loving mother of two cute boys, a dedicated wife, a loyal teacher and blossoming snow to all her friends.
