Profile Summary
Christy Taylor is owner and President of Virtual Business Connections, a company designed to help small to medium business owners create an Internet presence, as well as equip them with the necessary knowledge and services to direct traffic to their websites. Christy began this company because of her passion, desire and satisfaction for helping people step out of their comfort zone to realize their potential.
Christy spent many years within the corporate environment. She has seen how working in this environment can restrict people from reaching their full potential. She set out to start a company that would give people the Internet marketing tools and motivation they need to either start their own business, or to nurture an existing home business so that it would flourish.
Christy, not only has succeeded to earn her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management from Franklin University, but she also earned a Master’s in Business Administration. Because of her desire to help people realize their potential and increase their profits through Internet Marketing, she is currently teaching eMarketing courses. Christy is familiar with a number of computer skills, including: Microsoft Project, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Power Point, Photoshop and Office 2007. She received 2nd place award for the State of Illinois Business Professionals of America Financial Contest. She is a volunteer for SCORE and a member of the Heart of Illinois American Society Training and Development (ASTD) Organization.
Christy is currently pursuing partnerships with a number of different companies to enhance her knowledge, so she is able to offer small to medium business owners a broad variety of options to make their business fully reach the highest level of success.
She has just recently found a passion for motivational speaking because of the overwhelming satisfaction she feels when someone is excited about pursuing their goals and dreams.
When she is “away from her virtual office”, she enjoys spending family time with her husband, Jed, and four beautiful children, Brittni, Blaine, Brady and Chelsea.
