About the Class

The Extremum of a function refers to its maximum or minimum value. When a small part of the function is taken into account, the extrema is called local & when its whole domain is taken into account, its called a global extrema. We can conclude that a global extream is also a local extrema, however, a local extema may or may not be a global extrema. We will discuss the various methods of finding the extrema of functions.
