He has complete knowledge and experience about Project/Program/Portfolio Management right from initiation - requirements understanding to close-out – User Acceptance with all the necessary ingredients like requirements collection/understanding, resource selection/mentoring, planning using Enterprise Project Management tools, work break-down structure, delegation, empowering, risk management, Project Costing (Earned Value Management) & Invoicing, Monitoring & Controlling, Customer communication and buy-in, and collaborating with other units and also customer(s)
Murthy is a certified PMP from PMI, USA. He is certified Six-sigma Black Belt (BB) and as Qualified Master Black Belt (MBB), mentored Green Belt and Black Belts for their certification.
Murthy has good General Management experience, having been responsible for Resourcing, Training & Development and Quality initiatives. He has not only organized various training programs, but has himself conducted 250 hours of training for project leads and project managers
