Course Title, “Alternative Energy and Fuel Sources”, material covered: basic chemistry language, atomic structure, molecular structure and molecular bonding, oxidation reduction reactions (basic), p-n junctions (basic), electrolysis of water. Energy sources: nuclear energy (fission, fusion, plasma), solar energy (solar cells), hydrogen fuel cell using PEM. Students experienced hands on labs, interactive discussions, data analysis, independent review of scientific articles and their own analytical questions and interesting lectures, “Quiz Show”.
