About James Hunter

I speak English French and Spanish and have extensive experience in translation from Spanish or French to English. I have 19 years experience teaching ESL English as a Second Language English copy editing as well as operations management in Web-based instruction delivery. I have extensive experience teaching ESL to all ages and ethnic backgrounds, from 4 year-olds to CEO's of International companies. For seven years, I operated Le Prof, a Language School I opened in Quebec, Canada in 1990. My company grew to two locations in two cities despite intense competition from other private and public institutions. During that time I also studied at Université Laval in Quebec City and taught English classes to both students and teachers at the local school board. I have taught at the CEGEP (College) level and given numerous workshops and presentations to school boards and ESL organizations across Canada and in the US at International TESOL Conventions. I have collaborated as a writer for a grade 4 English textbook, and have published my own teaching materials.
