Director of training

Workforce Solutions HR and Training Consultancy, Caribbean Nations

Jan 2008 - Present

interview techniques, careeer development

For businesses I assess staff and identify weaknesses and then design courses to suit the needs of the organisations. I also have a robust assessment strategy to ensure that active learning is taking place.
For individuals, I carry out a diagnostic assessment and from the results we arrange their gaps in order of priority based on the industry they are presently in or would like to enter.

i would hold sessions on how to search for jobs on the internet as well as how to reply to job advertisements. I would also help people work towards improving their Math and English skills. I enjoyed working with people who had never used a computer before and seeing them progress to the point where they can produce a document and send it via email to a friend.

NEXT EDUCATION, United Kingdom

Jun 2002 - Jan 2008

GCSE MATH, ENGLISH, BASIC AND ADVANCES ICT ( ECDL)

I used to offer marathon ECDL prep sessions to learners who had to pass it in order to gain their BSc in Social Work from Kingston University. Based on success I had many people asking for my assistance in preparing them for the ECDL.

I also devote time to CV/ resume writing. The hardest thing to do is the write about your self , I have devised a questionnaire to get the answers I need in order to help someone write a winning resume.
