I've taught public speaking for the last fifteen years, and rhetorical studies for the past ten. My focus has been on the blended forms of "rhetoric and," particularly "rhetoric and the media," "rhetoric and theatre," "rhetoric and humor." I continue to research how Swedish American identity was shaped by the humor they used and continue to use.
